New year, new project! The Mandarin Oriental, Paris is not to be outdone and is becoming the stage for an exceptional program at the heart of the Sur Mesure restaurant. During Les Semaines Culinaires, the luxurious hotel will welcome Michelin-starred chefs from around the world, inviting food lovers to discover unique flavors and exceptional talents. The first to do so? Fréderic Doucet, a French chef with a passion for traditional recipes and locally sourced ingredients.
A busy schedule
The Mandarin Oriental is celebrating the diversity and richness of the cuisines of the world and opening the ball with two renowned chefs: Antonio Guida (from April 22 to 25, 2025) and Fréderic Doucet. The former is an Italian chef with three Michelin stars who works at the Mandarin Oriental hotels in Milan and Zurich. Very involved in social work, he offers refined and contemporary cuisine with bold colors. The latter is a French Michelin-starred chef, owner of Maison Doucet in Charolles, Burgundy, where he offers modern dishes while showcasing local products. In this way, the two prodigies will launch Les Semaines Culinaires 2025.
Frédéric Doucet reveals his exclusive menu from March 4 to 8 2025, then from July 1st to 5, at the Sur Mesure. Drawing on local ingredients from his native Burgundy, the Michelin-Starred chef elegantly revisits the great classics of French cuisine, promising delightful surprises for demanding palates.
A sensory journey in several acts, each dish telling a story: broth, fish, and shellfish from the Loire and Brittany, and a dive into the heart of Charolais cattle breeding. Added to this is a surprising sweet touch with goat cheese and blackcurrant creme sorbet, and the grand finale: alfalfa soufflé, Morvan cazette, and hay ice cream, a signature dessert that pays homage to the farmers of the Morvan region.

Unique experiences
To mark the occasion, the Mandarin Oriental is offering an unforgettable culinary experience combined with exceptional service. It’s in the spirit of openness and sharing that the hotel aims to offer much more than lunch or dinner to its guests eager for cosmopolitan flavors. Le Sur Mesure thus becomes an intimate restaurant where stories mingle with the passionate and fascinating journeys of the world's greatest chefs. Each menu is created as a score for an evening (or lunch) where Italian cuisine and French traditions share the spotlight. A way to celebrate differences and enhance them through an art that unites. With this event, the venue solidifies its position among Paris's must-see destinations and once again demonstrates its gastronomic influence on a large scale.
