From a child’s wonder of her grandmother’s rings to the creation of her very own brand, Célia Chemama knew to listen to her inner voice. With Erato Paris, she shapes jewels that tell stories, blending the art of the past and the energy of the present.
A precious legacy: from hidden jewels to the first inspirations
As a child, Célia Chemama didn’t see jewels as simple ornaments, but as treasures to be protected. Her mother and grandmother would bring back from Italy gold semainiers and imposing rings, which they carefully hid in handkerchiefs. These memories forged the idea of an already traced future for the striking and soulful pieces.
A journey between reason and passion
Destined to a classical path, Célia hesitates between science and literature before yielding to her artistic instinct. After studying at the Sorbonne, a business school and LVMH, she trained in photography and gemology, accumulating the necessary skills to bring her project to life.
In April 2022, Célia launches Erato Paris with a precise idea: bring back to life vintage jewels all the while creating modern pieces inspired by the past. Accompanied by an exceptional Parisian workshop, she develops creations where the ring, often neglected, becomes as precious as the stone. Her first piece, the Marguerite ring, is the perfect example: delicate engravings, openwork finesse and a knowledge that spans generations.

For her, buying jewelry is not a trivial act, but a moment that seals a memory and an emotion. “I want that luxury stays an accessible pleasure, a precious but sincere experience”, the 36 years old designer tells us.

A universe where jewelry becomes an escape
Daydream, legacy and sensitivity, these are the three words that define Erato Paris. Inspired by Victorian jewels and Art Nouveau, Célia Chemama plays with styles and eras, creating jewelry that tell a story, that of those that wear them. With Erato Paris, she offers much more than jewelry: an enchanted interlude, a modern heritage, an invitation to the gentleness in a hectic world
