On Friday, February 7, the day after the start of New York Fashion Week, Veronica Leoni unveiled her DNA under the aegis of Calvin Klein Collection for fall-winter 2025-2026. And this was no ordinary fashion show: it was the one that officially marked her debut as artistic director of the label. Let's take a closer look.
Calvin Klein, as seen by Veronica Leoni
Much more than just a collection, a key stage for Calvin Klein, who wants to establish itself as one of the trendiest ready-to-wear lines of the moment. Because since 2018, and the presentation of the last collection by Raf Simons, nothing had been shown on the catwalk. To mark the label's comeback and revival, the creative director, who previously worked for Céline and Jil Sander, has focused on a style that is familiar and appreciated by all: minimalism.
In this wardrobe unveiled at its historic headquarters (located at 205 West 39th Street in New York's Garment District), it is impossible not to find your way around. Veronica Leoni offers us a total of 63 silhouettes, sometimes feminine, sometimes masculine, expressing themselves through a vision of American beauty. “My goal is to define an ultimate and radical expression of monumental minimalism and purity through cut and craftsmanship, breathing Mr. Klein's original vision into today's world,” she says in a press release.
In other words, looks straight out of the office wear, capes to protect you from the temperatures, long elegant jackets, no prints in sight, straight suits and a whole host of bags to adopt without delay. Very quickly, as we watched the models parade by, three silhouettes caught our attention.
The first, masculine, is particularly classic. Certainly. What interests us in this outfit is first of all the delicacy of its features, which we were totally unaware of at Calvin Klein. Then, the way the jacket is worn, at least from the point of view of the men's wardrobe, is attractive. Like a cape, the CK man wears the jacket more casually on the shoulders. We like it.

The second look is more complex. A long coat that defies trends, halfway between tweed and mohair. The material is innovative, the shape unusual. Two reasons to want this piece from look no. 20, with its golden bag of course.
The third, certainly our favorite, consists of a turtleneck that extends to almost touch the dress. The sleeves are also huge, lengthening the silhouette. It is the ideal balance between a strong cut and a minimalist look
The cape, for men
In Veronica Leoni's first collection for Calvin Klein Collection, we discover another trend that delights us in advance: that of the cape for men. Until very recently in the fashion world, the cape was usually worn only in the women's wardrobe. However, historically, the overcoat was reserved for men, especially in military and religious circles.
Since then, some fashion brands such as Gucci and Balmain have tried to make it again fashionable for men, but the trend has not really caught on. With Calvin Klein's FW25 fashion show, we are keeping our fingers crossed that next fall the cape will become a must-have.

Kendall Jenner, headliner
During the 63 or so appearances, before Leoni came out and greeted the audience, we spotted a well-known face in the industry: that of Kendall Jenner. Indeed, for its return to the fashion scene, Calvin Klein's luxury line has enlisted the services of the most expensive model in the industry.
And it is a very strategic choice. Each time she appears, whether alongside Versace or L'Oréal, she goes viral. Indeed, the 29-year-old woman alone combines notoriety, influence and mass commercial impact.
On the catwalk of Calvin Klein Collection's Fall 2025 show, she is more natural than ever. Her short bob and glasses give her a scholarly air. This is reinforced by the basis of the outfit, consisting of a long coat/blazer, with nothing underneath, and a skirt. The lines are straight, with no frills, to focus on the cut. The shoes are very simple. Finally, the bag, clutched in her hand like a vanity case, has a crocodile effect and is in the same color scheme as her jacket.

To summarize, it must be said: the Calvin Klein Collection Fall/Winter 2025-2026 fashion show by Veronica Leoni was a success in every aspect. First of all, an aesthetic that is identifiable by all, strong and balanced looks that will fit perfectly in our wardrobes, (mandatory) expertise and quality materials, as well as a viral moment with the presence of Kendall Jenner, which will only further echo the collection.
