Fresh and powerful, the fragrance imagined by Annick Menardo blends top notes of violet leaves, a woody heart of vetiver essence, and patchouli in the base. Beyond its olfactory footprint, there is a certain symbolism hidden in the campaign that accompanied the fragrance’s launch. Focused on success, determination, and team spirit, the campaign highlights the values that the athlete embodies and his desire to inspire those who support him to achieve their dreams, as he reveals in this interview for OniriQ.

You are the muse for the new Boss Bottled Triumph Elixir fragrance. How does this brand reflect your vision and values?

Eduardo Camavinga: “BOSS is a brand aimed at determined men, capable of setting goals and doing what it takes to achieve them. Inevitably, it is a vision that resonates with me and corresponds with the discipline I require from myself to succeed in my career on the field.”

What does the fragrance evoke for you?

E.C: “It reminds me of summer and vacation. It is intense, while remaining very fresh and easy to wear. You can definitely wear it every day!”

What do you like most about this fragrance?

E.C : “Its blend of intensity and freshness and also the self-confidence it gives you when you wear it.”

The perfume and the campaign articulate a message about triumph, success, and determination. How do you think you embody this spirit?

E.C : “I am a very determined person who works hard on my goals without letting myself get distracted. It is always very rewarding to see the fruit of one’s efforts pay off. One of the successes I am most proud of in sports is having won the Champions League with Real Madrid. It was such an incredible moment!”

What traits would you like to highlight as an ambassador?

E.C : “Determination, discipline, and empathy.”

How do you see the notion of triumph beyond success on the field?

E.C : “Triumph varies from person to person. We all have different dreams. Outside of soccer, getting my high school diploma was very important to me. I studied for my high school diploma during Covid, alongside my training. I am very proud to have succeeded, it is a personal triumph because it was a complicated set of circumstances.”

How do you hope to inspire men in their daily lives with this campaign?

E.C : “I hope to show them that with work and determination, but also with the right entourage, they can succeed, no matter what their goal is. I would like to tell people to believe in themselves. It’s that simple. They need to give themselves the means to achieve their dreams.”

Do you wear cologne every day?

E.C : “Yes, I rarely go out without a fragrance. It’s a bit like wearing a piece of clothing, it’s the final touch for a look.”

What smell reminds you of your childhood?

E.C : “Without a doubt, it’s my mother’s cooking! With my brothers and sisters, we loved it when she cooked for us. I am very close to them and having them in my life contributes to my success in every area.”

Would you say that the worlds of soccer and perfumery have something in common?

E.C : “Yes, because to create a perfume, it can take years, so I think that both worlds have this work over a long period in common, but also teamwork. You cannot create a perfume alone and you play with their teammates. And both inspire people, and can bring them together around common values.”
